It has been 6 years since I started dancing professionally. I have experienced real freedom, increase in body confidence, self esteem, mental and physical health. Not only that, I got to meet amazing people from all over the world in dance classes that became our home, Kwetu. And today our international team is spreading the vibes in 3 different countries.  

I created this space, both virtual and physical to share the transformative power of dancing, I teach with love, care and respect, and one of my biggest differentials is the fact that I will tell you about the origins of what you dance, give you names, countries and relate this information to the rich culture background the moves you are learning come from.

I have had thousands of students from more than 60 different countries and no matter where they’re from, we could become one team in class.

I did the Afro music course. I had already learnt some choreographies in academies, but my level was beginner. I really like the way Lucille taught the classes and the feedback I received. She knows about dance technique and her feedback was very useful as it helps you to improve your dance technique. Also, she has a lot of patience and her classes are really fun and inspiring.

I enjoyed all the courses! It was a different experience everytime, one course I was always there live, second one I worked with the recordings and sent homeworks and the december afro course i couldnt take part much and still need to go back to the recordings but for me personally it's really nice to have the material to go back to, also for repeating, taking notes it works great and I learned a lot. Most precious of it all we get to dance together even from afar and having a few weeks with your classes on the scheduel makes me really happy <3
